The following is a list of information that we will need in order to be successful in our quoting and manufacturing process for turnkey and consigned jobs. The preferred medium is electronic data.

      • Contact person (including phone, fax and/or email) whom we may contact should any questions arise.
      • Bill of Material (BOM), preferably in Excel format, with a description of the components, manufacturer, manufacturer part number, locations of parts, and quantity per board for each component. Revision of the BOM should be clearly identified. For consigned jobs, specify how SMT parts are provided (tape, bulk, tubes, etc.)
      • If this is a turnkey quote, we need to know your guidelines for substituting components.
      • Quantity of boards to be quoted and time/scheduled period of delivery.
      • Assembly drawings for top and bottom sides of boards, cables, boxes, panels, etc. Revisions of the drawings should be clearly identified. Preferred file formats are *.dwf, *.dwg, *.dxf, *.ppt, *.pdf and *.jpg.
      • Gerber files for the PCB and stencil which should include paste layer, silk-screen component layers, panelization data and CAD data (*.dwf, *.dwg, *.dxf, *.ppt, *.pdf and *.jpg.).
      • Pick and Place files (centroid data), preferably in Excel format, which should include reference locator, x and y and theta for every part.
      • Schematics diagrams are necessary when you require electrical test and or an electrical functionality guarantee.
      • Purchase orders must include BOM number and revision, drawing number and revision, scheduled delivery dates, quality specifications, pricing, ship to and bill to information, statutory, regulatory and additional requirements if applicable.
      • For In-Circuit Test, see page titled Data Required to Provide an In-Circuit Test Quote.
